Commission: A Maternal Ode to Artemis (Part I) “Flynn, wake up, we’re almost there...” A voice whispered as he felt his body being shaken awake. Groaning from his sleep, Flynn Avery woke up in a blue sedan’s rear passenger seating: the rumblings from the car being far too familiar to his senses to wake him up, he immediately glanced his somewhat blurry vision to the driver’s seat of the car, where his mother is currently driving the car towards the Hyperboria Plains, the pointed location is one of many establishments of the branches of Artemis, the famed organization of superheroes founded by the ratifying world governments as a means to keep track of the emergence of “powered” individuals and to give the human populace a peace of mind when encountering people with superpowers.
